Every two years, EMTs need to successfully complete a refresher course at their level of certification.  Let StarFire EMS help you meet those requirements.

When you sign up for the Distance Basic EMT Refresher course, we send you a CD.  The CD has all the classroom lecture parts of the Refresher Course.  Sit down, put your feet up, listen to the lecture portion, watch the embedded videos, take the test as you go.  Bring the finished test answer sheet with you.  Select one of the dates below and join us for the practical skills portion of the program! 

ONLY those EMTs who complete BOTH the CD/test AND the practical skills session will be awarded refresher course credit!

Another option is to attend EVERY session of a Basic EMT course and successfully complete all written and practical skills testing components.

StarFire EMS offers two types of Basic EMT Refresher courses - one  that has a component you complete at home and a practical skills portion you complete with us, the other is a three-day 8 hours a day program held at our Smiley School location. 

When you register for the Distance Basic EMT Refresher, you register for BOTH the at-home and in-class portions!

When you sign up for the Absolute Last Chance Basic EMT Refresher, you must plan to spend all three days, 8 hours each day with us in order to be awarded refresher course credit.
